Human beings with the need could come and live in the Town of Angel's Light for a time

Restore their physical and mental health, and, their economic opportunity. On their personal journey, they would work hard to heal themselves, save money, learn to create passive income, purchase a home and pay it forward when they leave Angel's Light.

In June, 2024, the homeless founder of ECONOMIC EQUALIY, DAO tweeted about the DAO'S intent to buy a piece of land in the City of Acton, California. The tweet marked the project's official beginning.

ECONOMIC EQUALITY NOW, INC. officially registered as a California Non-Profit Corporation and the corporation applied for tax exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS tax code in June, 2024.

The founder and team started working on a strategy to fund the project, as it will require a considerable amount of financial resources.

In the month of June, 2024, core Smart Contracts were deployed, establishing existence of the ECONOMIC EQUALITY DAO [SMART CONTRACT] PROTOCOL on ETHEREUM BLOCKCHAIN MAINNET as follows:

1) ECONOMIC EQUALITY, DAO;

2) DAO Governance Functionality;

3) Native platform cryptocurrency (ERC20) "EQUALITY ($=) TOKEN";

4) "Eight Million Stories in the Naked City", a Collection of Eight-Million (ERC721) DAO Membership NFT's;

ECONOMIC EQUALITY, DAO is a unique project insofar as it aims to build a decentralized city [for the homeless] on the blockchain. Since its inception, it has made significant progress toward achieving its mission. Establishing a strong community of supporters in a short time.

It has also made significant strides towards decentralization and building resilience as a DAO, in order to create a more decentralized and democratic society through the use of blockchain technology; the new way to create impact on the local, neighborhood, city and county-wide level. Where through collaborative effort, community action can take place in a participatory and transparent way.

The Town of Angel's Light would create a significant social impact throughout the City and County of Los Angeles in three important areas:

1) Safety and Liveability;

2) Community Cleanup, Restoration and Beautification;

3) Property Value and Economic Growth;

Additionally, we approach this experiment with the following ambitions:

1) Residents of ANGEL'S LIGHT are accepted and respected citizens of Los Angeles;

2) The DAO Members who are the "Stakeholders" are the accepted and respected owners of ANGEL'S LIGHT;

3) Living in ANGEL'S LIGHT you are safe and well;

4) Living in ANGEL'S LIGHT means you have opportunities to develop your talent;

5) ANGEL'S LIGHT will be an economic energy attractor for its entire region, fostering entrepreneurship and creativity with work opportunities for all the residents of ANGEL'S LIGHT;

6) ANGEL'S LIGHT has transparent and effective governance;

The town will prioritize areas of impact on these basis, visible for all to see, as the blockchain saves the history of all activities in immutable fashion.

Upon approval by majority vote, the proposal is automatically executed by Smart Contract and the community aligns in collaboration

The history of the project is saved on the blockchain, including proposals, votes, outcomes, collaboration agreements, assessments and , validation certificate.

The blockchain provides a transparent and immutable history of events. Everyone can access the project on blockchain to check the project history, which facilitates trust between all stakeholders.

Ownership is not a buzzword, a renaissance is underway. Web3 technology has unlocked a new era of human ingenuity and creativity that is reshaping the way we connect and thrive.
